“The grass withers. The flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” .. Isaiah 40:8
The earth awakens. Flowers spring forth. Songbirds arrive. It is a joyous season. The Earth delights.
Hi friends,
I am out in my garden among the roses. I had flowers left from Mother’s Day and I remembered this beautiful tablecloth. It all seemed to be calling for an outdoor tablescape. Take a few minutes to sit with me at my table.
My knock out roses are the perfect backdrop.
The tablecloth I believe is Ralph Lauren.
The beautiful pitcher belonged to Mother, a gift from me.
The chargers and plates are very old and they are beginning to show their age a bit. The bird plates are from HomeGoods.
The flowers were leftover from Mother’s Day. I used red roses, petite beige roses, fern and other filler. Two white tulips complete the arrangement.
I love doing this so much I completely lose sight of the time.
Bob says the roses in the tablecloth look like they are real roses.
Simple sterling flatware and beautiful stemware from my late MIL finishes the look.
I have white linen napkins that continues my white palette.
Thank you for joining me on this beautiful day.
Dianne
Dianne, what a lovely spot to set a table in your garden. The tablecloth is perfect against the backdrop of your roses. The white dinnerware allows the backdrop and floral arrangement to be the spotlight…just delightful. Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend my friend! ❤️🇺🇸💙
