Sitting Room on right when you enter the foyer. Maddie calls it the waiting room. It amuses me that she thinks of it as a waiting room.

The other morning I found this chair was wearing pigtails. Do you have any idea who might have thought this chair would be cute with pigtails?!
This old China Man is a valued piece left to me by a friend who died of breast cancer about 25 years ago. She taught me a lot about living. I think of her every day.

This restored piece in the dining room sits by the China Cabinet. I change this around from time to time. I love all these candles. There is usually a candle or two burning all the time.

This is me….blanket and Southern Lady magazine. Comfort! Pillow says “It’s Fall Y’All”.

My coffee table arrangement with pumpkin, candle and dried hydrangeas.
Fireplace in Great Room. I picked these flowers from Trader Joe’s and placed a little matching pumpkin beside it. I have since changed the flowers to dried hydrangeas. Bob and Jenn like the hydrangeas and say they should stay.
Jenn gave me this cross the first time she came to this house. It has a permanent home here. I am in the picture also. Will I ever learn?!
Can you believe how beautiful these velvet pumpkins are! They were a gift.
This is my favorite piece of furniture…Mother’s loveseat. We talked a lot about me getting this. I brought this to my house at Easter and she was able to see it in my house. Grateful she was able to see it in my house!

What a treasured loveseat from your Mother and it is gorgeous. You and I have so much in common, we love things that have stories and memories attached…that is what makes a home so special!
