Autumn Joy Sedum

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.”  Ecclesiastes 3:11

Hi Friends,

In 2015 a friend gave me my first Autumn Joy Sedum.  Mother had just passed away and she wanted me to have something that would come back every year.  The next year I added five plants to go with this one.  They start blooming in July with a green bloom, then this perfect pink, then a darker pink and finally a rust color that looks pretty in the fall.

A simple table among the sedum that emphasizes this beautiful pink color.

This sweet bird was a gift from a friend.  It has a special perch inside but occasionally gets to visit in the garden.

My garden is full of blooms and the hummingbirds, bees and butterflies are very happy.

They have already begun to turn a darker pink.  Watch for my next post as I celebrate these transforming beauties.

Thank you for joining me today.

Your Comments are greatly appreciated.

  1. Dianne, your autumn joy sedum is beautiful as is all of your garden. I love the pretty tablecloth and table sitting in the garden. It is an inviting spot to sit and relax. Thank you for sharing. Happy Sunday, dear one!
