“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light and winter in the shade.” – Charles Dickens
Hi Friends,
Charles Dickens sure knew what he was saying when he described March. I feel like he might have been in Western North Carolina when he pinned his beautiful perfect thoughts on March. No complaints here, however, as I see signs of Spring all around me. I am sharing a little vignette and table as my heart yearns for my own flowers to bloom. I did bring out some of my special rabbits and birds.
These rabbits were a gift from Bob about five years ago, They carry all kind of cargo but mainly flowers,
I tried my hand at creating an arrangement in a cabbage. It was more difficult than I had expected. I used hydrangeas, roses, tiny carnations and lots of filler.
These rabbits joined the parade and added a little candlelight.
This little rabbit in the water can has an expression like me as I wondered why I tried this cabbage thing!
This tablecloth is fairly new. I think it is my favorite…..birds and flowers everywhere!
This bird was also a gift from a friend when we moved into this house. It always has a special place in my home and heart.
Pink dinnerware topped with salad plates that are definitely some of my favorites. They were also gifted to me by a beloved friend.
I am overjoyed when signs of Spring begin to appear. Thank you for joining me today.
Dianne

Thank you so much Sandra. This blog is a tribute to my Mother who passed away in 2015. Thank you for signing up for my blog.
Dianne, your cabbage arrangement is gorgeous…great job, my friend. I have the WS salad plates and have used them for this upcoming Monday Morning Blooms (great minds think alike lol). Your rabbits are adorable. You have styled a lovely vignette. Enjoy your weekend!
Pam, thank you. Looking forward to Monday Morning Blooms. Thank you for your enduring support. Dianne
