June Garden 2021

As the psalmist writes, “Weeping may tarry for the night, but Joy comes with the morning.” Psalm 30:5

Hi Friends,

I absolutely love being outside in nature.  Just piddling around in my garden brings peace.  I think it is because I feel closer to God in nature.  I see His creative genius so clearly, and I feel His Spirit more palpably within His creation.  Nature is where I am most filled with awe and wonder for God.  I missed posting my June garden so I am trying to catch up.  My June garden gifts have been many.  Come join me.

My “Parade Rose” by David Austin has always been beautiful but it really has grown.  It has taken over my garden statue.  From where I am looking, it is absolutely beautiful.

I found this cute trellis for the rose to give my boy some breathing room.  You can also see that the sedum are really growing.

This seems to be working well.

Another David Austin rose called JOY has provided so much joy.

Transplanted from my Mother’s garden, these lilies are breathtakingly beautiful.

A hospitality flag welcomes my visitors. The roses blooming in the background.

Even the shrubbery has beautiful blooms this time of year.

The day lilies have been beautiful.

When we retuned home from our trip, the Shasta daisies had bloomed.  They are such happy flowers and it was quite a show.

The Foxglove has bloomed and bloomed.  I have several of these throughout the garden.

A little table that looks pretty in this part of my garden.

God’s love surrounds us in that He made all of nature to work so beautifully together and to provide us such a stunning place to live out our human lives.  The nature of His love is in the very nature of all that He made, and that includes us.  We were created in His image.  What a blessing!

Thank you for coming along today.

  1. Dianne, the DA roses are exquisite! Foxgloves, daisies, and lilies are all beautiful. It was pure joy to take a walk in your garden on this Friday morning! Blessings, my friend!

    1. Pam, thank you. It has been an unusual season. None of my hydrangeas have bloomed and I have eight or nine plants. I am going to have some beautiful dahlias and a few sunflowers. Very excited about the dahlias. Thank you sweet friend.
