“Can words describe the fragrance of the very breath of Spring?” – Heltje Blanchan
Hi Friends,
My Spring garden has at times filled me with overflowing Joy. The first thing that blooms is my helleborus known also as Lenten Rose. They are so delicate and beautiful. From there, I just wait and see, My flowers have been beautiful. Come with me. Bring your coffee.
The sweet cherub is nestled in the shrubbery. Bob has added straw to my gardens to dress them up.
One of the first things I look forward to seeing is the weeping cherry. I had two of these in my front yard but lost one.
As I mentioned in my salutation, the heleborus is one of my favorites. They are the first thing to bloom and bloom for a very long time, I am going to plant some new colors this year.
When I planted these bulbs, I wasn’t sure what I would get but very pleasantly surprised.
The tulips were breathtaking!
The Japanese maples are putting on their full dress!
The hycinths were so full. They almost looked like lilies.
The birds are loving the garden and building their homes. They serenade me every morning.
My bleeding hearts made it through the cold spell.
My camellia bush is almost gone.

Dianne, what a beautiful walk in your gardens. The weeping cherry is beautiful as is the gorgeous Lenten Rose. Your tulips and hyacinths are so pretty. Birds, sunrises, and sunsets give us much joy that is provided by our Father. Blessings always, Pam
Dianne, Your garden is stunning. I love everything. We like the same things. I am loving my hellebores too. I planted two new ones this year and noticed this morning they have changed from white to a pretty shade of green. I am going to cut a few and add to my arrangement I am using for dinner guests tonight. I wish I had known about hellebores years ago. I had no idea I could grow them.
I love your photo of the goldfinch. Such beautiful color. The male is so pretty and vibrant.We enjoyed goldfinches for the first time this year. They entertained us for a long time. They seem to be gone now but I hope they come back next year when they migrate. During Covid the birds were so special to us and great company. We did not get out except to the grocery store and doctor appointments.
Your tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils are lovely and I love your weeping cherry.I also like your bleeding hearts and I may try my luck with those.
