A New Season

“There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under Heaven”   Ecclesiastes 3:1

Hi friends,

Last year was challenging but we persevered.  We can’t really know what the year holds but we do know God will be faithful.  I invite you to embrace the new season and seek out the JOY waiting for us.  I hope to use this time to reconnect with family and friends.  I also want to spend lots of time to enjoy nature.  I have done some planning and planting this year in my front yard and it has brought Joy to my heart.

My helleborus (known also as Lenten Rose) has been breathtaking.  They are the first thing to bloom.  I have five of these.

Daffodils and tulips clumped together for a beautiful show.

Tulips blooming on a sunny day.

I have two beautiful Japanese Maples on either side of our front steps.  They will soon put on their beautiful red  coat.

Bright yellow daffodils look even more yellow in the sunshine.  The tulips are following at a little slower pace.

Oh, how I love pink!

Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy…

My Camellia bush still has beautiful blooms.

Be still my Heart!

I want to move into God’s light and love and let go of disappointments in 2020. There is Joy in this place.

  1. Your garden has come to life with the beautiful Hellebores, tulips, and daffodils. Spring is a season of hope and renewal as we celebrate the Easter season! Thank you for sharing Dianne. Wishing you a lovely weekend!

  2. Dianne, there is terrible devastation across our state. The photos are horrifying. The five that lost their lives were hit by a tornado about fifteen miles from us in our next door county.
