The Lord is the One who will go before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or abandon you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8
As we fully embrace the winter months… I am not sure I truly embrace some of the cold, dreary days of winter but I do understand how precious every day is and treasure every one. I try to include things that inspire me, rituals that keep me on a schedule, and time for reading, meditation and good music. I begin to bring new color to my home. Even if the outside is dreary, inside is light and cheerful.
The colors of lilac and lavender inspire me and I am reminded of these sweet things blooming in my garden.
Lavender is most commonly used in aromatherapy. The fragrance from the oils of the lavender plant is believed to help promote wellness. I have lavender oil that I use in my aromatherapy diffuser.
I have just changed my front door and I have added these colors to my front door.
My sitting room also has gone through a similar change.
The glow of candlelight really gives a room a sense of warmness.
My bathroom even gets a refresh with these colors and scents.
These were Mother’s beautiful towels that she displayed so beautifully in her bathroom.
Gave my bedroom a touch of sweetness! Bunnies are always seen in my house no matter the date on the calendar.
Thank you for joining me. May you find JOY in every day.

Dianne, you have captured beautiful photos of joy and simple pleasures. I love the scent of lavender and I always have a pot in the garden. Happy Sunday!
