New Years Eve 2020

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing LOVE, for I have put my trust in You.  Show me the way I should go, for to You I entrust my life.”  Psalm 143:8    For to You, Oh Lord, I entrust my life.  That gives me more encouragement than anything I can think of.

Hi friends,

It has been a challenging year.  I have lost people I love so much. Things have changed that require more thought and planning. I pray that I can take some of the things I have learned into a new year trusting and believing in the same Savior that has been with me every step of this year.

I have been busy taking down Santa’s, adding a few festive New Year’s decorations to my centerpiece, and planning on leaving the lights burning until New Year’s Day.   I am keeping the lights burning in honor of doctors and nurses, first responders, firemen, police, patrolmen, teachers, administrators, grocery store workers, business owners who are struggling, ministers, musicians, those who have lost loved ones and those we have lost to this horrible pandemic and other causes.  I know I have left out many.

Adding light and New Year’s decorations.

More light and a top hat!

Candlesticks from my late MIL, Hazel Sharpe.  They are beautiful.

JOY!

I have my table set for two.  We are having filet mignon, potato, salad, and cheesecake. The plates are from Pier I years ago.  I have named him Robert Reindeer alias Robert Sharpe.

Pier I calls her Foxy Lady.

Have a blessed and Happy New Year.  May the JOY of the Lord fill your hearts every day!

    Dianne
