His name will be called…Prince of Peace
In speaking about the Savior, the prophet Isaiah reported, “A child will be born to us, a son will be given to us, and the government will rest on His shoulders, and His name will be called Prince of Peace” Isaiah 9:6
Hi Friends,
I am doing a little tour of my kitchen and dining areas. I have decorated every inch. Come along again. I’ve decorated until it is tacky.
My Dining Room from my foyer.
This beautiful little plate was given to me by a friend many years ago. It is a numbered piece called “The Littliest Reindeer.”
My first job out of college was at Champion International in Canton, NC, 25 miles from Asheville. It was a wonderful opportunity but it seemed a long way from home. Herschel and Helen Deweese, a couple in Canton, took me under their wing like I was their child. Helen made this beautiful caroler set for me in about 1972.
Another homemade Santa made by a friend years ago. He is sitting on a very old sleigh on Bob’s antique radio.
Just a pretty arrangement I put together near my desk in the kitchen.
I always do a Williamsburg tree with fresh fruit and greenery from my yard. It always turns out different every year. This is sitting on my sideboard.
I just threw this together on my kitchen island. I had just painted the top to my lantern and sit it in the center of this wreath. I added a bow and ornament and I loved it.
I bought this precious doll when Jenn was a very young child.
Cocoa and treats in one corner of my kitchen.
I found this Fitz and Floyd teapot years ago at a consignment shop.
I always decorate my corner hutch. I love the church and Sweet Grace.
Getting ready for a new tablescape to include my sweet plate in our breakfast nook.
May the PEACE of Christ be with you.
Dianne
Dianne, I love that you have gone all out to decorate this year! Your dining areas are just beautiful. I love that gorgeous doll from Jen’s childhood. Lovely home that is merry and bright ♥️ and perfectly dressed for the most wonderful time of the year!
Thank you Pam. Most everything I have has special meaning. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I am so grateful for you.
