Simple Joys of Autumn

Let the rustling leaves of autumn remind us of the joy of simple things….

Hi Friends,

Autumn is a time to get closer to simplicities of hearth and home.  I get very excited about decorating my home for the fall season.  I love the colors, smells and joys of the season.  Just recently my grandson, Davis, told me he could smell Fall.  He is wise beyond his years.  My daughter calls him an old soul.  I am so thankful for him. Yes, Davis, Oma gets this!  I can smell it too.

Welcome to my cozy autumn home.

A cozy throw and matching pillow in my sitting room.

Another throw and pillow in my oversized chair.

This is the same sitting area with a ceramic pumpkin that has been with me a long time.

A little fall color for my Great Room.

A little something I put together on my kitchen table.

Even on our bed……

A few festive things in my Dining Room including a few velvet pumpkins that I love.

Back porch….a little something I put together.

On my back porch, another wreath that speaks Autumn.  Thank you for your visit.  I appreciate all comments.

  1. Dianne, your home is beautiful in all of its autumn finery. From the front door wreath, beautiful pillows, cozy warm throws, velvet pumpkins, and lovely vignettes…all speak of my most favorite season! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home. Happy Wednesday, my friend ♥️
