A Stroll in my Garden

“Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.”  Proverbs 3:5

Hi Friends,

My garden nurtures me.  It nurtures my spirit.  It is a bit of fresh air that I need during these times of being confined to our homes.  My daughter brought me new hydrangeas for one side of my house.  We had azaleas there that never performed.  We waited year after year hoping they would come around.  Even our neighbor said:” yes, it’s time to do something different”.  Ready for some beautiful mountain air, come along…..

My David Austin English Rose is blooming.  It is magnificent.

I had the soil prepped before Jennifer arrived with these beauties.  They have bloomed but don’t look this pretty now.  I plan to put hosta plants in front of these.

  1. Dianne, strolling through your garden with coffee in hand was such a delight this early morning. Mornings in the garden are the best with blooms refreshed with dew and the lovely melodies of birdsong. The swing would be my choice to sit and enjoy conversation, love the little bunny pillow. Your David Austin rose is stunning. Are the hydrangeas “endless summer”, if so they will perform well all summer. Hosta will look so pretty fronting them. The flowers, the birds, and the tranquility makes your garden a respite for the soul. Happy Friday my friend!
