“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also and he praises her. Many women do noble things but you surpass them all.” Proverbs 31:28-29
Hi Friends,
My Mother was definitely a Proverbs 31 woman. She was my first teacher and my very best one. She loved everyone unconditionally and her example has been with me my entire life. I started my blog as a tribute to her.
This is Mother and my daughter Jennifer with Mollie, one of the twin calves.
Mother loved amaryllis and this is one of hers. My SIL, Dora, has taken care of it since 2014 and she wanted me to have it. It bloomed a few days before Mother’s Day. An unbelievable gift to me.
Thelma is my mother’s name. My friend Patsy gave this to Mother. Mother treasured her friendship with Patsy. Patsy became another daughter.
This girl made me a Mother and grandmother.
I am so thankful and grateful for her. This is Jennifer and me at Biltmore House celebrating my birthday with very close friends. She is an amazing girl. She founded a charter school about five years ago and now has 1200 students K-12. She is Head of School.
We are on a weekend trip with Maddie to see a play. We ended up going ice skating.
My parents with my brother and me during Christmas at Grove Park Inn. We were a very close family.
Such a beauty….inside and out. She taught me a love for gardening and nature. She loved the Lord more than anyone I have ever known. I miss her every day but her presence is always with me.
Happy Mother’s Day friends!
Dianne, such a beautiful tribute to your mom and Jennifer. I know you miss your mom terribly, but her legacy lives on. I did not know Jennifer was so accomplished in the education field. You and Bob must be extremely proud of her. I hope your day was wonderful my friend♥️
