There is something about autumn and old barns. Ah, fall—–there are so many reasons to absolutely love this season. The weather is just about perfect. It is an ideal time to enjoy time with the family. Our family makes an annual visit to the pumpkin patch, the corn maze and finish our visit with hot apple cider.
“Notice that autumn is more the season of of the soul than of nature.” Friedrich Nietzsche
“Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree.”
“You will never convince me that there is a better place to teach your children about life than in a barn?
“Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.” Elizabeth Lawrence
“And all at once, summer collapsed into fall.” Oscar Wilde
My favorite color is October.
A barn is a sanctuary in an unsettled world.
Watching the leaves turn in my back yard.
My back yard last year.
Our small towns are decorating for fall.
No matter how BAD your day is…There is always someone waiting for you at the barn.
“There is harmony in autumn and a luster in its sky.” Percy Bysshe Shelley
Thank you for your visit.
