A Passion for Color

From the fiery red of a sunset to the aqua blue of the Caribbean Sea, nature’s colors surround us. Summer brings out nature’s bright and bold colors.

Hi dear friends,

During the early summer months, I get a real passion for bold colors.  I had spied this tablecloth at HomeGoods months ago and loved it.  I suppose I was the only person liking it so much as it was drastically reduced.  While I have little color in the garden, I decided a bold table with lots of flowers would be fitting.

My garden is in a state where very little is blooming but a lot of potential.  The hydrangeas are blooming and the sedum is showing signs of blooming.  Where is the time going?

I know you will agree that this is about as bold as it gets.

And I just love the hummingbird plates that match perfectly…from Tuesday Morning.

I did not have a chance to go to Trader Joe’s for flowers so I have used faux flowers on the table.  I envisioned a large pot of white and pink hydrangeas.

These sweet little Italian glasses look pretty with all this color.

I used my white chargers and white napkins with all this color.
