Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do than the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. – Mark Twain
Hi Friends,
As my friends begin to talk about their vacations, my head is full of daydreams of enjoying twilight dinners in France or Italy. As I write this, my brother and his wife are enjoying a trip to the British Isles to include the UK, Scotland and Finland. I thought I would just take a trip with my tablescape. My inspiration are these beautiful wine plates from Tuesday Morning.
I already had these beautiful purple bowls and green dinner plates. Trader Joe’s had the perfect mix of blooms for my centerpiece. I used an old tarnished brass pitcher for my flowers. Its wear makes it more beautiful.
I am going to use my beautiful cheese tray on the table as well.
It seems I have all the ingredients for an Italian tablescape.
The lighting is terrible but too rainy to go outdoors.
I have used a simple beige cloth as there is so much color in these plates.
I am imagining a wonderful pasta dish in these bowls.
Thank you for joining me on my little imaginary trip.
Dianne, your table with the lovely Tuesday Morning plates is reminiscent of my trips to Italy. It is a beautiful country and the Tuscan hillsides are magical. I loved sitting at your table imagining another trip. Have a wonderful day my friend❤️
