Country Morning Tablescape

Flowers are so glorious.  Each variety is unique.  Sometimes I get so excited when I put an arrangement together.  Yet these are only flowers.  How much more artistry do you think God has bestowed upon us, sculpted in the beauty of His image?

Hi Friends.

The kitchen seems to be the heart of the home. Roosters add a touch of country beauty and I have a small collection of them. Over a year ago Jenn and I were at a Pottery Barn and these beautiful plates were drastically reduced.  They are heavy and feel like pottery.  Speaking of pottery, Bob and I won this beautiful duo at an auction.  I am not sure won is the right word.

Many times I enjoy doing a little vignette before setting the table.

Moving things around, I failed to put my glass in its proper place.

The colors in this plate are so beautiful with several shades of blue.  This plate looks very French Country to me.

Just love this bowl and sweet ladle.  Beautiful pottery…almost looks like it matches the plates.

Red roses, petite white roses, fern and filler make up the arrangement.  Many of these blooms were left from Mother’s Day.

Thank you for joining me at my country table.

  1. Dianne, I love your country morning table. The PB plates are the perfect French country look, I don’t ever remember seeing them on line. Your floral arrangement is lovely. I always enjoy sitting at your table. Have a beautiful day my friend!
