“Those we love don’t go away, They walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear.”
I came home yesterday afternoon to an amazing sight. There were between 15 and 16 cardinals in my garden where we have our bird feeders. I sincerely mean it when I say gift. Most of my photos were taken through the kitchen window so I would not scare them… so forgive the quality. This went on for hours. I finally ask Bob if he thought they would go to sleep soon.
This statue made a great landing for them.
He is big and beautiful.
She is just as beautiful!
He looks a little unnerved. She is on the branch to his left. Keeping an eye on her.
Three or four was the most I could get together. They were flying in the trees, eating from the feeders and eating from the ground. The bird serenade was like nothing I have heard.
I expect we are going to see lots of baby birds soon.
The bad ole squirrel didn’t even deter them.
She is sitting right behind him.
Taken from my front porch yesterday afternoon. Trees budding and blue sky.
Another view from my front porch.
