Thoughts of Spring

Hurry up Spring.  Life is unpredictable and it changes with the seasons. Even your coldest winters and rainy days happen for the best of reasons. Though it feels eternal, I promise Spring is coming and with it green leaves, blooming flowers and birds building their nests. Thank you Lord for all the reasons for all the seasons.

Hi Friends,

I thought I had lost my “muse” during all this cold, wet, wintry weather.  I went to the Caribbean and this is what I saw. I came back with pink, yellow and green racing in my head.  My inspiration quickly returned when I saw the beautiful colors under a sunny sky.  My tablescape includes these beautiful colors as a prelude to Spring.

When I start putting flowers together, I am truly in my element. I believe it is a gift that God has provided for my enJOYment.

Green place mats are the foundation for my place settings.  I like to see the wood with these spring colors.

  1. Pink and Green one of my favorite color combinations. The mix of plaid and solids just perfect. Love your bare wood, love your pitcher with yellows, pink and white, and I see cauliflower soup in the pink bowls……yum, yum, yum! Photos from your FL trip blend with pinks and greens. Share more!

  2. What a beautiful reminder that spring is coming. I love the tablesetting, it is truly a breath of spring! We have sun this morning after torrential rains and flooding. Have a beautiful Sunday!
