Breakfast with French Country

Isiah 40:8     The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the Word of our God endures forever.”

Hi Friends,

In keeping with my blue and white in January, I have done a tablescape in my breakfast area.

For a tablecloth I have used a quilt and I really love its texture and it adds warmth to the table.

This wonderful rooster was given to me years ago by my friend Eleanor Logan.  He has a special place in our home.  Right now he makes a great centerpiece.

I have used my white plates that I have shown so many times.  I thought the gray linen napkins was a nice subtle touch.  Sometimes I can’t explain why something in decorating feels right… just pleasing to my eyes.

I used the green placemats to give the table a bit more color.

Glasses are very old.  I love old treasured things the most.

The egg holders are cute little hens holding boiled eggs.

Its cold outside but this table makes for a warm setting.  Thanks for joining me today.

  1. Good morning Dianne. I am admiring that beautiful blue and white quilt and it is a lovely foundation for your tablescape. The rooster is the perfect centerpiece for your French Country tablesetting. I would love to sit at your pretty table and share morning coffee. Have a great day my friend!
