Hi Friends:
I am sharing a plaid tablescape today. I love plaid for Christmas and I have set a table for four. I hope you have finished your decorating, wrapped your gifts, finished your food lists, recipes are in place and you can sit by your tree with a cup of tea and take in some of the joy of your home. Even though we have traveled and I have run here and there, I have taken moments to put on my music, sit by the tree and take it all in. I consider the reason for this season…our Savior was born. These are moments of great Joy for me as I reflect on what that night so long ago might be like. “Be still and know that I am God.” That is what I do.
Just going to share a few photos of my table. Bought these bowls two years ago and just love them.
Plaid on plaid with red napkins and gold napkin rings.
For a centerpiece I used a red lantern set inside a wreath. Love these beautiful stems with these other elements.
I hope you do take those silent moments to enjoy this precious time for reflection and to rest your weary bones. God Bless.
Dianne
Hi there! It’s pretty, pretty, pretty! I’m a lover of all things plaid, too. In fact, I think your salad plate may be 222 Fifth “Wexford – Red”? I have that pattern and just LOVE it. It looks like something straight out of the Highlands and is gracing our Christmas dining table this year, too. I really like the bowls you have, too! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Oh my word, that’s a stunning table! I just live those bowls too, to echo what Alycia said. Merry Christmas!
Dianne, I always love tartan, especially on a table that is as pretty as yours! Those bowls are adorable, are they Fitz and Floyd? Wishing you moments to take in the joy of our Savior’s birthday!
