“But the angel said to them.”Don’t be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great Joy that will be for all the people.” Luke 2:10
Hi Friends,
Hope everyone has enjoyed decking the halls and preparing for Christmas. I am feeling comfort and joy after being out of town for a week. I think so many of us get overwhelmed this time of year…so many presents to purchase, dinners to attend, and families to split time between. I realized a long time ago that too much emphasis on these things steal your joy. I shifted my eyes to the Child of Christmas…the Jesus Child. I have slowed the pace and made space for the Lord’s presence.
Just sharing a few beautiful photos. Love this old church.
This is my beautiful church. Tonight more than 130 voices from First Baptist Church Adult Choir and the Asheville Youth Choirs High School Chorale will present the Christmas portion of the Messiah and Hallelujah chorus.
A beautiful red bird paid me a visit recently.
We filled our feeders before we left town knowing the snow storm was coming.

You know I have to have horses on my tree. Stick ornaments that are about 40 years old.
Maddie was with me and cuddled up asleep in this beautiful throw gifted to me by my dear friend Connie.
I hope your Sunday is filled with joy and peace.
