“Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.” – Elizabeth Lawrence
Hi Friends,
I welcome you inside my home for a little fall decorating. Come inside…
Two or three pics of my sitting room on the right as you enter my house. Just added a pretty throw and a pumpkin pillow.
I change this tall vase every season. An old soup tureen completes the look with a few pumpkin colored candles.
I have a few extra throws on hand that speak of Fall So cozy and warm.
This is an idea I copied from someone else. Just love it..
I cuddle up in this oversized chair quite often as this room provides so much natural sunlight.
I have a large foyer flanked by four decorative columns that makes for a very open floor plan. This is one of the small chests in this foyer. I have had this large candle holder for 40 years. I add flowers and decorate it all the time.
Let’s step into the Dining Room. More pumpkin joy with red accents.
My foyer looks into our Great Room. This antique loveseat was a gift from Mother. I have had this pillow for several years. I just love the quality and size. It is a linen fabric…a fabric I really like.
We are now in our Great Room..more Fall Pillows and throws.
Kitchen island where most of my work takes place.
Alcove going into a guest bedroom decorated with velvet pumpkins that was a gift from a friend last year.
Guest room with more pumpkins.
Our master suite….a simple pumpkin pillow that blends with the neutral colors.
Our offices and sitting area off our bedroom.
A bit of decorating in this area also.
Another guest bedroom ready for Fall. Bob surprised me with this little truck last year and this red truck stays busy.
Thank you for visiting me today. A cup of cider and a pumpkin muffin sounds good right now. Enjoy all the elements of this wonderful season.
Oh yes, Dianne thank you for inviting me on a tour of your beautiful Autumn home. I really can not choose a favorite room or area……just love it all. This little red truck Bob found for you just makes it all special wherever you find to place it. Very peaceful to be still and watch the leaves change their colors.
