October gave a party; The leaves by hundreds came. The Chestnuts, Oaks and Maples. And leaves of every name. Sunshine spread a carpet. And everything was grand. Miss Weather led the dancing. And Professor Wind the band. -Geo. Cooper
Hi Friends,
The temps have cooled down and there really is a Fall feeling in the October air. Join me at my table today…
Pumpkins in the field to gather, big and gold……
I added greenery and faux flowers to give them a place to rest.
I usually start on my kitchen island putting a tablescape together. This was the beginning……
I love this little floral tablecloth with dark blue background that I picked up at TJ Maxx. It has all the colors in the flowers. It even has orange! I think these napkins work well…from Pier I years ago. As you can tell, I started early in the evening and finished up late.
This is the table in my breakfast area and a difficult place to photograph. My beautiful white plates from Pier I that I have had years and years really brought out the white in this cloth.
Etched crystal glasses from my beloved MIL that I use often.
Fall has always been my favorite season. Everything is bursting forth with beauty. Thank you for helping me celebrate this season. If you would like to leave a comment, just scroll on down. I love to hear from you.

Dianne, what a beautiful autumn tablescape. I love the floral tablecloth and the white Pier 1 dishes set it off perfectly. It is feeling more like autumn here and I am loving it. Have a wonderful day sweet friend!
