O Lord, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. Psalm 8:1-2
Hi Friends,
I have a few pretty flowers blooming in my garden. We are working to replace some lost plants and add some new ones that we want.
This morning I am marveling at the birds at the bird feeders, Lord. They are so fascinating. Their plummage, the variety of sizes, shapes, beaks, wings, calls…I feel a sense of pure delight at their existence.
This Indigo Bunting showed up this week. He is so beautiful.
After church, I snapped a few pictures nearby. I find so many things to be awed by. Azaleas and dogwoods are in full bloom.
This is where I go to worship, relate to my friends, set my busy life aside and give God my undivided attention. I find strength in gathering together. We are all in need of our friends’ presence and support as we struggle with life’s difficulties and also life’s victories.
This is the church across the street. It looked so beautiful with the fresh budding leaves against the red doors.
You have made it all speak of your majesty.
Just a pretty throw on a porch table speaks of spring and the coming summer.
My garden last year. I see prospects of more of this to come.
I turn my heart toward Heaven today to worship and give glory to you, Lord.
Thanks for visiting with me today.
Dianne
