“Wherever I go and whoever I be, let something of Jesus be seen in me.” I don’t know who should get credit for that phrase but it speaks to my heart.
Hi Friends,
Bob and I have been working outside trying to fill in spots in our garden, get down mulch and clean up from the winter. Most afternoons we take a little break and have a cup of tea, a cup of java or cold sweet tea. I set up a little teapot on my side board today.
I love this little teapot because it has the pink and my beloved blue and white also. It has a sweet bird heading toward the flower.
I am finding it very challenging filming around mirrors.
I am using my peony napkin rings with gray linen napkins.
This table cloth has large pink blooms that speak of spring. These plates were a gift to me from Lynn, daughter of my heart.
There are some petite sandwiches and macaroons going on these plates.
I am using my favorite footed cups. Tea just tastes better in them. This beautiful little hankerchief was given to me by Connie. I have a selection of Twinings teas to choose from.
This is one of the hydrangeas that we are planting today.
Sitting with a cup of tea, taking time to relax, and enjoying the moment is a precious gift.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
Thank you for your visit.
Dianne
Dianne, what a beautiful presentation! The teapot is so pretty. I will have Earl Grey in the footed cup, please. Garden clean-up is hard work, sitting down for tea and macaroons makes back breaking work easier!
