I have a friend and a beloved minister in Asheville who has talked a lot about the day in between Friday and Sunday. He calls it the silence of Holy Saturday. This is the day when the shocked grief of disillusionment and death mingle with the wonderment and anticipation that the end might not be the end. Because of Easter, Saturday bends toward life and hope, and so do our lives. Because He Lives, all of our days can bend toward life and hope. Praise be to God!
Hi wonderful friends,
A little tablescape and a little of this and that. I wish you a most blessed Easter.
My centerpiece is a potted purple tulip which I will plant in my garden.
Rabbits are inhabiting our home everywhere we look.
Jesus died on the cross to redeem mankind because of His great LOVE for us.
The sun was shining in my dining room so brightly this morning.
Plates from Tuesday Morning. They look like bone china.
I made these little napkins and have used faux flowers to match the plates.
“This is the power of the cross: Son of God slain for us. What a love! What a cost! We stand forgiven at the cross.” ….words by Keith Getty
Thank you for your visit.
