“Let the resurrection Joy lift us from loneliness and weakness and despair to strength and beauty and happiness.” – Floyd W. Tomkins
Hi Friends,
It’s almost time for dyed eggs, chocolate rabbits, Peeps and yes, the Easter Bunny. He sneaks in and out of yards and houses with baskets filled with all sorts of goodies. I love rabbits and birds, bird houses, bird nests, and the list goes on. You can find these around my house at any time. Today my tablescape is about bunny love.
A lot of love being exchanged by Mother and Baby bunny. I started with a simple wreath and just kept adding to it. Tried to include lots of color. Picked this sweet pair up at HomeGoods in Florida.
The color of this tablecloth is so pretty but I was unable to capture its fullness of color. It has lots more color than it appears. I smile every time I pass this table.
I used my grass place mats from Pier I, my aqua plates and these rabbit plates that look so much like the centerpiece.
The napkins with the flowers and peeps matched perfectly.
These Italian blue and green stems seems to work.
Do you think she is going to pick up her baby or giving a little “motherly” talk?
This is the mirror and sideboard next to my table. Hung this little basket and floral drape for an elongated touch.
Bunny Love for sure at this house! Thanks for stopping by.
Dianne
Dianne,
This Bunny Love table Is lovely indeed! All these colors are my favorite…..aqua, pink, green, purple, yellow. The wreath and bunny plates are perfect for its center attraction. And now my little story about mama and baby. She is not scolding her baby girl. She is talking to her about “life’s lessons” and such. This little one is ready to make her way hopping about the meadows. Mama is telling her stories she has experienced of other creatures who could prey on her because she is just a little toddler and they could take advantage of her being so tiny. She is telling about others she will meet that are shy and didn’t have a mama to teach them about “the Big world.” So, my dear one, always be kind and patient with them. You can invite them to our home for tea and scones. By showing them this kindness they will be better equipped (mama explains to her dear one the meaning of this big word) to meet and make new friends. Then, my dear one, there are others who will be jealous of you, your beauty, your Grace, your confidence in just being you. Beware of these…..they are out to kill, steal and destroy! It could be your precious little body that is ripped to shreds. Or it could be your precious good soul that Jesus gave you when you were born. But Sophie, just know my arms are here to embrace you through your joys, your sorrows, your fears, your disappointments and know that Always, Always I LOVE YOU no matter what. Your Loving Mama.
Connie, what a beautiful and heartwarming story you have given to Sophie and her dear Mama. Actually made me cry. Quite the excellent advice for Sophie and the truths she needs to hear. She then offers her the assurance of her constant and unwavering Love. This tablescape has taken on a totally new meaning to me. God has blessed me with your friendship. Thank you dearest friend.
Dianne, what a sweet momma bunny and baby! I love the wreath and it’s floral additions as your centerpiece! The bunny plates are so pretty, where did you find them? The Italian stemware is stunning! I love, love, love this beautiful table!
Plates from HomeGoods last year. Thank you for your sweet comments. You are an amazing person.
Wow, what a beautiful table! I try to stay away from buying too much seasonal decor and live vicariously through others. But after seeing those adorable bunny plates I may have to rethink that! Such a gorgeous centerpiece and dishes!
Thank you for your sweet comments. Bunny plates came from HomeGoods last year. Have a great day.
Dianne, Your table makes me smile, also! Adorable mother and baby bunny sitting amid the pretty floral wreath. Your plates are too cute and how you styled the plate stack is so striking.Wishing you a happy week.
Thank you Bonnie. Hope you have a wonderful week leading to Easter Sunday. Blessings.
