Hi friends,
I started my blog in March of 2017. My daughter spent about an hour with me one afternoon and got me started. Since that time I have pretty much been winging it… trying to work on content and not so much on the technical side. I need lots of help. I want to get my watermark for my pics and there is so much I need to learn. My blog is a tribute to my Mother who I lost two years ago. My goal is that the love of God will shine through everything I do.
There are a few bloggers who I had been following for a long time and they have enriched my life. Everyday Living by Pam Richardson was a huge influence on me. Thank you Pam. My friend Connie encouraged me and my wonderful husband, Bob, keeps encouraging me also.
I have looked back at some of the pictures I like most from this first year and decided to share them again.

Mother’s Victorian Vase with fresh flowers from my garden.
Antique Hydrangeas from Connie and sweet potato vine in Mother’s galvanized watering can.
My favorite vase stays full of fresh flowers.
Oh, how I love my garden!
I love what can be done with fresh fruit in an arrangement.
And, Oh, the splendor of Autumn!
We went to several rowing competitions. Davis brought home the gold most every time. Maddie is wearing my hat.
Thanksgiving !!! I have a lot to be grateful and thankful for!
Christmas…the birthday of a King. I call Him my Savior and Lord.
Thank you to everyone who visited my blog last year. I love doing it so I will continue. May God abundantly bless you. Dianne
Your angelic Mother is, no doubt, proud of and thankful for you. I’m very pleased to have made your kind acquaintance this past year, and I look forward to more of your talents being showcased in the years to come. Happy 2018! I hope this is a banner year for you in all you do!
Alycia, I am so happy to hear from you and pray you are healing. Thank you for your sweet friendship and encouragement. I also look forward to the day you can continue your blog. Very grateful to get to know you. Dianne
Dianne, I just love all your seasonal post and pics. Please allow me to express my favorites. The most precious little decorative plate I’ve ever seen …..
Beautiful little girl dressed in Santa suit with animal friends around. Bob’s Mother’s unique candle holders, I can’t even describe their vintage beauty. And a miracle for certain they survived these many years without a crack or chip.
And your Mother’s so beautiful Victorian vase. First pic shown just breathtaking! AND the beautiful, so full of Life she burst ……Miss Maddie! Dianne, your talented gifts are very evident ln your floral arrangements, gift wraps and bags. Happy to hear you will continue to bring us JOY in 2018.
Thank You!
My dear friend, Connie, there would never have been this blog had you not encouraged and encouraged me. Your comments made me tear up. You know best the history of these little treasures from Mother and Hazel. I just can’t thank you enough for your encouragement and most of all your friendship.
Dianne, you are such a lovely Southern lady! It was my pleasure to get to know you last year as you started your blog! I am amazed at all you have accomplished with an hour of instruction…remarkable! You created so much beauty for each season all to honor your mother…that resonates with me so much. Thank you for your sweet shout-out, you are so generous. What precious God-given talents and gifts that you share with us, your readers! May 2018 be a fun and rewarding blogging year!
Thank you for your constant encouragement. I know you are getting ready for the big game tonight. Thank you for this special friendship.
