Day Four of 2018

“God makes all things new again.”

Hi friends,

I am trying to transition from Christmas to Winter.  The weather and temperatures here are certainly cooperating.   It is going to be  5 below in Asheville tonight.  The wind is fierce here this morning and blowing a bit of snow.  I love the changing seasons but I am already ready for something new, especially warmer temps.

The cardinals in the snow remind me of the birds in my backyard.  Bob filled up the feeders yesterday.

Everything looks so bare so I have held on to the trees a few more days. The Santas and ornaments and large trees have been put away.

Green polka dot plates are Kate Spade.  The tiny plates are from Mast General.  Glasses are Pioneer Woman.

A new look for the mantle for a few days.

Lots of hot chocolate on these cold days. Love these cups.

Maddie is at Oma’s for a little downtime.  Rabbit is always close by.

  1. Good morning Dianne, it is a cold 12 degrees at my house this morning! It is always a treat to open up mail and see your lovely blog! Hot chocolate sounds delish, but we went back to our Whole30 program on Tuesday! The Kate Spade plates are perfect with your reindeer plates, beautiful winter table and mantel! Stay warm sweet friend~

  2. I am thinking about the Whole30 program. Thank you for your continued support. Cannot tell you how much it means. Very very cold here.
