Cardinal and Deer Tablescape

Hi Friends,

With all this snow, I have been playing in the dishes.  My tablescape is about the precious animals in our lives.

How does it get any sweeter than this?  Better Homes and Gardens Heritage collection salad plates from Walmart.

I have used my woodsy place mats and plaid dinnerware.

My centerpiece is a red lantern sitting in a wreath with greenery, red berries, pine cones and antlers.

The baby deer is so sweet…looks like a tiny Rudolph.

I made these little wreaths for my chairs,

Using my standard red napkins with lots of texture and the glasses are Pfaltzgraff.

  1. Love, Love, Love this table……your small chair wreaths, your deer and Rudolph plates, your red lantern and OMG, the beautiful (maybe) holly berry stems! And did I forget to mention the cardinals?! I, once upon a time, had the most special cardinal any person could ever think possible. His memory and His meaning still lingers with me.

    1. Thank you my friend. Yes, I remember your constant visitor at the same time every day..your own special Cardinal. Thank you for introducing these beautiful plates to me and thank you for Little Rudolph. Much love my friend.

  2. Happy Sunday! Your table is beautiful, Dianne. I love its Woodland feel. The mixture of your plaid dinnerware with the sweet BH&G salad plates is warm and inviting! The red lantern centerpiece is just perfect along with your chair wreaths! I know your snow was beautiful to see especially during the Christmas season!
    Hugs, Pam

  3. Good morning friend. The red lantern was a birthday present from Bob. Aren’t we blessed to have husbands who love what we do. I am so thankful for you. Much love.
