“Holiday Season” Tablescape

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched.  They must be felt with the heart. Wishing you happiness.” – Helen Keller

Hi Friends,

My tablescape looks very similar to those I have set for many years but it was never placed on a blog. It still gives me joy with so many memories attached.

These were my first Christmas plates…..”Holiday Season” by Mikasa.  I wanted something different and simple.  The etched holly and ribbon around the edge is just beautiful.  I think they are only available at Replacements.  I bought 24 place settings when I bought them.

I found these napkins and napkin rings at Pier 1 years ago.  The little balls in the plate has the exact color of gold in these napkins.

The crystal is Mikasa also.

These little Christmas ball  placecards were a gift from Connie.  Went perfectly with this pattern.

The Lenox birds with yellow background had to have a place at this table.

The centerpiece is something I made with greenery and pine cones sprayed a wintry green.   The deerhead almost gets lost with my table.  The colors blend so well with the china. Love these placemats..cannot remember how long I have had these.

Bob and I had a little overnight visitor.  She looks like a beautiful elf.  This is really the best part of any day.

Thanks for joining me for this Holiday Season.

  1. Dianne, I feel the warmth and love from your beautiful home! The Mikasa pattern is simply beautiful and you have paired it with beautiful linens. I love the napkin rings, did I miss where they are from? I have similar place card holders and they are so festive. Your table welcomes family and friends to sit down and enjoy the peace and joy of Christmas! The best picture is your darling elf with her grandfather! Blessings and hugs, sweet friend!

  2. Good morning Pam. The napkin rings are from Pier 1 also. Your Monday tablescape was really over the top. Have gone back and looked at all the detail. Still expecting a video of you and Butch performing one of our beloved Christmas carols.

  3. Dear Friend of Mine, just love this table…..Beautiful and welcoming just to enter your front door and glancing to the left. Love, love this set of your Christmas China. My favorite piece is the cup and saucer. The beautiful, beautiful chandelier in the foyer is dancing to have a part in this scene! And Don’t I just wonder what Maddie and Papa are so intrigued with?!
