Hi Friends,
On this Sunday afternoon, Bob and I sit relaxing in our great room. I am contemplating all the things I still have to do for Christmas. I just love the sights, sounds, and smells of the season. I decorate until things begin to look “tacky.” In the midst of all the wrappings, I am keenly aware of the greatest gift the world has ever received-JESUS. Bob and I have decided to take a few minutes every evening to light our Advent candle and have a short devotional and let the peace of Christ fill our hearts.
I wanted to share our beautiful Advent Wreath. Mary, Joseph and the infant Jesus.
The Shepherd and the animals.
The wise men bringing their gifts.
The angels declaring the Glory of God.
This is a little table that I gave Dad many years ago depicting the Adoration of the new born king. There are many stains on it as he used it for his coffee and treats every day. It brings joy to my heart.
