Happy Birthday Eleanor
God, in His Great Love and Wisdom, puts special friends in our lives to help us on this Journey. It is Divine Providence. Eleanor is a gift from God. Thank you, Eleanor, for all the Joy you have put into my life.
This was taken eight or nine years ago. I sure don’t look like this now. Eleanor and I met at church. She says her first memory of me is carrying a baby down the aisle at church…that would be 41 years ago. My first memory of her was at church thinking she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. Her outer beauty doesn’t hold a candle to her inside beauty.
Here she is with my Mother, making sure Mother was comfortable and did’t need anything. The number of people Eleanor has taken care of is more than I can estimate..the sick, the dying, the impoverished, and others. She is a true disciple.
This was taken in late 2014.
Here we are with her wonderful husband Dan. Dan and Bob are best friends and Godly men.
Eleanor and I have had loads of fun together. We don’t miss an opportunity to laugh and have fun. At this stage of our lives, we enjoy laughing at ourselves and how much alike we still are. Thank you God for this wonderful friend.
This is me and Nell, Eleanor’s sister. When we were all three together, people thought we were all three sisters. We always had what we called our “spring fling”. We spent a weekend each year out of town shopping, eating and having girlfriend fun. That continued for a number of years. Thank you God for these memories and the love we all three shared.
Last year during Hazel’s sickness, Bob and I lived at Eleanor and Dan’s house for 40 days. Who can find this kind of amazing friend? Their worth cannot be measured..it cannot be described….I can only look into the Heavens and say “Thank You Lord.”
Happy Birthday, Eleanor!

Dianne, what a beautiful tribute to your friend! The light of Jesus sparkles in both of you. True friends are a gift from our Heavenly Father. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
What a long, loving, beautiful friendship! God is good. He brings people into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Eleanor is definitely a lifetime, and you’re both lovely! Happy Birthday, Eleanor, and may you enjoy many, many more in friendship and affection!
Oh yes, dear friends……to know Eleanor C. Logan as I do, well you would be living in a dream thinking you were already in Heaven because she is an Angel on this earth. The many talents she has shared through out the years of being a school teacher, I am certain every student remembers her fondly. And her life in church work is indescribable……giving more than I can even tell you. For certain “her outer beauty does not hold a candle to her inner beauty.” She is a true friend to many and is my friend.
