Before I can introduce my tablescape, I pause and ask God to be with the families in Texas who lost loved ones yesterday. Lord, wrap your arms around those who are hurting.
My central theme today is family. My tablescape is inspired by this crystal pumpkin jar and angel that belonged to Mother. Yesterday Jenn and I ran some errands together. She was awed by all the beauty we are seeing around us and she expressed it so beautifully to me. She said she had so many wonderful memories tied to this time of year. A little nostalgic maybe but we have so many family memories tied to this beautiful time of year. It was like a prelude to my tablescape. Thank you Jenn for your beautiful outlook and perspective.
The Crystal Pumpkin jar and angel both were Mothers.
Family meant everything to my Mother and Dad. The angel’s wing says: “The family is one of nature’s masterpieces.” We certainly agree.
This neutral tablescape seemed to go well with these valued pieces.
This Victorian charger is by Portico Home. The plates are Lovelace by Crown Victoria.
These candlesticks are Tiffany of NY, a gift from my friend Carol Fisk.
The salad plates are Silvestri by Demdaco.
I have used my crystal cake stand to showcase this crystal jar and have added greenery and a candle to the centerpiece.
Praise be to God, Creator, Savior, Lord, the Alpha and the Omega, the Prince of Peace, the Omnipotent God.

Oh My Goodness! Dianne, this must be THE most beautiful angel I have ever seen. Yes, we have a common thread of heritage that always has been love of family. I am very thankful for this. Your neutral tablescape of crystal, white and silver is just “over the top.” And what about that silver pumpkin?! Just love it all.

I feel that you and I have a common heritage…love of God, family, and country. These are our guiding principles and how blessed we are to have grown up in these kind of homes. I too love these little salad plates.
What a nice way to honor your Mom and capture the spirit of cherished memories. It all goes so well together. I especially love those salad plates!!! They have such a regal look to them! For some reason, the movie “Little Women” popped into my head with them!!!
