Hi Friends,
I have enjoyed decorating the different parts of our home this fall season. The natural elements that are growing in front of my eyes is like a gift. Our shrubbery and hydrangeas make a beautiful background for our knee wall but I added pumpkins and colorful leaves and even a few feathers.
This is what I mean by natural elements. Color just crawling down my weathered fence near my evergreens.
I visited the Chanticleer Inn and enjoyed the beauty of their water features.
These mushrooms are unbelievable. They are huge. I thought they were flowers. These were located at the base of a tree at Lake Julian. I go there every day to take Davis to his rowing class. Wish I could give you a proper name for these mushrooms.
Goat cart filled with autumn beauty.
I just loved this water feature with all the rock. I bet Bob could do something like this.
A beautiful door and stone wall at the Chanticleer Inn.
My geraniums refuse to give up in spite of my neglect of them…so beautiful in this sunlight.
I hung these pumpkins on the tree….I am all about the pumpkins. Even this little artificial swag is sweet to me. I have an affinity for this time of year that I can’t quite express. I think the years on the farm with Mother and Dad and their love of the land and all it produced is a huge part of it.
I think its just about fall y’all! Thank you for sharing with me.
Dianne
