Outdoor Fall Decorating

Nature is one of God’s beautiful creations.  Through nature, God is able to teach us, speak to us, and provide for us.

Hi Friends,

The temperatures here are still very warm and most days we do not feel like fall.  The leaves are falling off very early in our back yard.  I have done some decorating for fall because I love fall and I know those cool, crisp days are just around the corner.  Join me for a little walk…..

My front door…a bittersweet wreath and our initial “S”  painted black.

This rocker has a very special place in my heart and I will be telling that story in a later post.  It is about Wes and Patsy Grooms and their love for my Mother.

Just love this wagon.  I am filling it with all kinds of fall goodies.

The rocker has a new look.  This pillow is from Pier I.

I just keep adding something.  Filled my urns with grass, ivy, and pumpkins.

Now, through my gate to the back…I had to decorate my gate a bit also.

Jenn gave me this old urn.  I added the pumpkin and decorated it a bit.

Bob has some cute spotlights on my statuary in the garden.  I hope you enjoyed this little walk with me.  FALL, we welcome your cooler days and sweet breeze and all the things that thrill our senses when you finally arrive.

  1. Dianne, your front door says “Welcome to The Sharpe’s”. Garden gate says “Welcome to our Sanctuary.” Love all your urns filled with Autumn. I am thinking Garden Girl has many secrets to share with Kitty. And Kitty is listening and she won’t tell. ! Thank you for sharing these beautiful “pretties.”

  2. You have fall touches everywhere! I love everything you have done. Adding small pumpkins in your urns and planters and beside your statuary is clever.
I love your bittersweet wreath and wheelbarrow of pumpkins and mums.
