Hi Friends,
I’ve decided to say my last sweet ode to summer and then plunge headlong into fall. I don’t feel I have given it a proper farwell so here goes…
I have Breathed in all your beauty …
I have rediscovered truths that only nature can provide. Oh, sweet summer, thank you for the perfect roses and skies of blue.
This is a very old tablecloth with these big cabbage roses. The background of this cloth is brown. It has been washed a lot.
I invited one of my kitchen roosters to come out and play. Bob named him Caesar a long time ago. He named all my rooster after ancient rulers. I added a few feathers for the centerpiece.
The pinks and the yellows, and the roses seem a fitting transition to the glorious fall.
Summer always makes me trust the process. Plant deeply, provide plenty of hydration, feed them properly, hope for sunshine and watch them bloom.
Work hard, play hard and love your heart out. Thank you Summer for your beauty and bounty.
My friends, I hope that my creations evokes a sense of lightheartedness and peace inside of you as you walk your path in life. Mother Nature inspires me and has helped me see limitless possibilities. Thank you friends.
Dianne
Dianne, oh how I love this Tablescape! The dark brown cloth with the cabbage roses is perfect with your dishware! Caesar looks like he belongs right there among the cabbage roses. Blessings dear friend to you and Bob!
