Tablescape with Pink Roses and Living with Joy

“Let the whole earth shout joyfully to God.” Psalm 66:1

Bob and I ran by Trader Joe’s after church last Sunday and I got a little bouquet of roses.  I have used them all week in different arrangements.  The softness of pink and the calmness and coolness of blue seems to speak to me on these hot and humid days. We have had cooler temperatures these past few days.

Lord, fill my heart with joy and delight only You can provide.

I am still using twigs from the Douglar fir.  I expect I may do both a fall and Christmas arrangement before it dries out so I can post them later. You can see my background looks a little messy..ladder still out and we are getting ready to put pine straw around the garden edges.

I am using a solid linen cloth and linen napkins.  I just love the look of linen.

These are Mother’s little cow salt and pepper shakers and a toothpick holder that matches.  They look right at home here.

The blue bird plates were a gift from Bob.  It is my favorite bird.

The beautiful etched crystal glasses were a gift from my sweet Mother-in-law.

Authentic faith is grown slowly , abiding day after day, as our Father grows our roots deep and strong and secure to hold the fruit He longs to create in us. I want to thank my friends, my blogging friends and all those who are using their gifts to bring joy to others. Keep shining!

Thank you for your visit. Dianne
