“Faith can move mountains.” Matthew 17:20
Good morning friends,
I am out playing in my garden. The birds were really talking this morning. There is one lone branch that is dead on this tree and I got a picture of one of the birds. The others were in the foliage of the tree and I could not capture a picture.
I just love this sight against such a beautiful blue sky.
“Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the Glory of God?” John 11:40
Maddie and I have been chasing rainbows. At one point, there were two. By the time I got the camera, there was only one. So beautiful. We both get very excited over the rainbows.
Thank you Holy God for this magnificent earth.
All of these from my front porch.
More of my garden and swing. Love this little pillow……FAITH.
“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” Mother Teresa
My roses surprised me…blooms everywhere again.
Bob and I watched the eclipse from our lounge chairs. Amazing to say the least. I did not take pictures as I do not have a filter for my camera lens. It was very cloudy just prior to the beginning of the eclipse… then the clouds cleared away and we we able to see it all….almost a total eclipse. It got so dark that our solar lights came on.
This week we took down our Douglas fir. Bob did everything possible to save it. He has been working on this area today putting down pine straw and making the area look better. Don’t be surprised to see a tablescape there.
Had to get a picture of the monarch and rosebud that adorns my garden.
My garden is gradually fading but the sedum and grass are coming along nicely.
It has been an eventful week. The views have been extraordinary….the rainbows, the fog, the eclipse…. and being able to enjoy these things with people I love. It doesn’t get any better than that.
“Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 15:14
Happy Eclipse Day my friends.
Dianne
Dianne, beautiful pictures today. I think you captured it all. Your Caladium very healthy with vibrant colors. I think it loves your back porch. A big surprise your roses are making a showing again. Anxious to see color of sedum blooms….pink, mauve, purple, brown, whatever they will be beautiful. Maddie and Papa enjoying the Eclipse story, I just bet?
Connie
The sedum are turning pink and then may turn a Mauvy brown. Don’t want to rush summer but am so looking forward to autumn temperatures. Thank you for your enduring friendship and encouragement. Dianne
Dianne, such lovely photos of God’s creation…mountains, fog, rainbows! The Eclipse was about 95% here. It was awesome! Your roses are showing out, I love autumn sedum! Blessings sweet lady and thank you for your prayers!
When they laid out the foundation of this house, I told them I wanted to be present so my front porch had a good view of the mountains. Blessings to you. Dianne
