Inspired by cool colors

“For the Lord your God is living among you.  He is a mighty savior.  He will take delight in you with gladness.  With his Love, He will calm all your fears.  He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”  Zephaniah 3:17

Hi friends,

Can you believe it is August 1?  Bob and I continually ask ourselves where the time has gone!   My tablescape today has cool colors.  By cool colors, I mean soothing, calming and something that seems to take the temperature down a notch.  It has been hot here in the mountains.  I am back to this blue and white and very simple.

I haven’t set up a page about Bob and me but here we are…about nine years ago.  Add some white to his hair and wrinkles to me.  Started my blog March 5 of this year and there so many things to learn.  I think it takes a wonderful supportive husband to do a blog.

I use these white dishes a lot in my table settings.

The tablecloth and napkins are Ralph Lauren.  I am sure I got these at HomeGoods.  They have been around a while.  I really love them and they seem perfect with my limelight hydrangeas.

This sweet nest looks pretty with this pattern..picks up the brown in the napkins.

My hydrangeas are so beautiful.  Wanted to show them in this lighting.

Just located some of my beautiful pillows from my daughter’s house….she had a big outdoor gathering and she borrowed them.  Thought these two looked pretty with this tablecloth.

Sit back and relax Bob.  Ice cream treat on its way.IMG_1784.JPG

I am thankful to have a husband who encourages me so much with my blog.  He knows that it has been like therapy to me. God bless all of you and have a wonderful day.  Dianne

  1. What a sweet post, Dianne! I love the photo of you and your husband. I didn’t realize you just started your blog this March! Well, you have done a remarkable job and congrats! Your table is just beautiful and you know I love Limelights! Supportive husbands are a blessing and I have one that loves The Lord and always encourages me in whatever I am undertaking! We have much to be thankful for!

    1. I am so grateful for your encouragement and comments. Your blog has been quite the inspiration to me. For someone of your standing in blog world to encourage a newcomer speaks volumes about who you are. God Bless. Dianne

      1. Dianne, I am rather new myself..3 years this month! I still have so much to learn. You have a beautiful blog that inspires and encourages. I really appreciate your bold use of scripture…to God be the glory.. His Word will not return void! Love and hugs!

  2. Hi, Dianne. I am a new blogger, too. I love your blue and white table. I agree with you that it really helps to have a husband who supports all the time and work a blog requires. Good luck with yours.
