“All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen.”– Ralph Waldo Emerson
A rooster is a great accessory for many French Country homes and kitchens. I have enjoyed having roosters in my kitchen. Growing up on a farm we had beautiful roosters..bright gold, deep blue and green, reds, black…. Our rooster would crow at the crack of dawn. He strutted his beautiful tail feathers like he owned the place.
Bob and I are dining with these roosters. Bob has named all of them. I am using my red and green plates as a base and these wonderful salad plates. I have had these for years. When I saw them, it was one of those WOW moments. Just love love these beautiful colors together.
This red stoneware china is by Home, a Christmas gift from Bob years ago. They are from Bed, Bath and Beyond.
A beautiful summer day with beautiful summer roses…..and hummingbirds.
The rooster is known for viligence and bravery. They have been used to decorate churchbells and watchtowers.
I have tucked a knife and fork in the bird napkin.
These tall crystal stems look ready for sweet iced tea. I’m ready too!
I love the plumage on these roosters.
These salad plates are 222 FIFTH Belize. I picked these up at Marshalls..too long ago to remember.
Enjoying our time with the fowl and my backyard is serene and peaceful.
A great day in Asheville, N.C.–from my front porch!
Lord, how blessed we are to be able to see you all around us and sense your presence within us.
Thank you, friends for your visit today. Dianne
